Testimonials :
”We found
the cottage to be a perfect
retreat. It has everything we
wanted and is
situated in a lovely quiet area not too far from Mevagissey harbour. We
also absolutely loved sitting in the conservatory with a glass of wine
in the evening and playing cards” David & Yvonne
Crichton
'We were very impressed with the setting of
Mevagissey for a holiday. Mevagissey itself is a vibrant, working
fishing harbour and there is so much of interest within easy driving
distance. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are a
must for a visit, as are Polperro and Looe. However, don't
underestimate the beauty and history of the Roseland Peninsular.
History fans will enjoy St Mawes and Restormel Castles and
Charlestown. If you are addicted to Tin Mines or anything
quirky (like myself!) a day's walking amongst the Caradon and St
Kits Engine Houses is rewarded with spectacular views. Finally,
should it rain what better than a visit to the award winning St Austell
Brewery! What a lot we did '
Kind regards,
John F
“Mariner's Rest
gave us a great base for our holiday. We loved the Eden
project and pottering around the Mevagissey shops and sights in fact
there was so much that we loved ” Philip
Saunders
“The
cottage had everything we could have
wished for on our holiday in Mevagissey. We really did not know what to
expect as we hadn't been to Cornwall before. The number of
beaches nearby
is amazing and
the cottage facilities catered for our family no matter what we wanted
to do,
the dog loved it too” Sharon
Hodgson
So ...
So many great things to do and
see are within easy reach; the Eden Project was wonderful and we plan
to return to your cottage to explore the area further! We'll be
recommending your cottage to all our friends! Jill Moore.
